Sam Frey

Owner and Mental Skills Coach

With a strong foundation as both a collegiate athlete and Division I coach, Sam brings a powerful blend of athletic experience and psychological expertise to her role as a Mental Skills Coach. She spent four years coaching Division I softball at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (NC A&T) as well as University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC)and played softball at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, where her passion for mental performance began to take root.

Holding a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a master’s in Sport and Performance Psychology from National University, Sam takes a holistic, evidence-based approach to mental training. She has led mental skills sessions with a wide range of performers—including middle school volleyball athletes, softball players of all ages, high school football players, and first responders such as EMS personnel and firefighters.

Her coaching is grounded in meeting individuals where they are, fostering a growth mindset, and guiding them toward becoming the best version of themselves—mentally, emotionally, and physically. Whether on the field or in high-stress professional environments, Sam is committed to helping others develop the resilience, focus, and confidence needed to thrive.
